Hi I just finished The Shikon Princess great book btw and I know it’s been like 2 years since like the last update but do you think in the future there could be an update?

Taking tonight and tomorrow off for Christmas with my family. 23 has ran away with me and is gonna be intense and not at all what I had planned to release next. See you all later when it comes out and Happy Holidays!

Well, well, well. 22 was a freaking doozy. I knew what was supposed to happen, but it kept happening that I would write a sentence or a paragraph and could not figure out what to put next. Hell, I put in a whole load of  exposition in the front end just to get myself into the groove of writing it. 
          But, I did it, I wrote Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's big fight scene and a confrontation between Kagome and the big dog. And I'm pretty proud of it in the end.

          Tetsusaiga fell from her hand at his side as Kagome reached forward and clutched her hand in his suikan, right over his heart. She felt a slow, steady heartbeat against her knuckles and a sob filled sigh of relief drug itself from her raw throat. A sad smile worked its way onto her face as she reached up and touched his face, her thumb stroking across the faded purple marking, almost appearing as a bruise across his cheek bone. His eyelashes twitched a little and the wide, glaring red eyes slowly closed as his tense, injured body relaxed against her touch.
          
          "Oh Inuyasha," She whispered, tears welling once again in her eyes, "At least you're alive." 
          
          "So, he has been brought down."

          So 23 is, hopefully, gonna be where my story officially earns it's mature rating. It is likely going to be long and wordy and a chapter I will nit-pick the hell out of before I publish. My goal is to have it pout before the end of the year but that being said, I may need to take some days to lean back and read other fanfics for inspo and or to decompress. This is gonna be fairly intense to write, especially because I feel like I know a lot more about those sort of things than the last time I wrote anything spicy. Please, let me take my time and I will have the sincere hope that by years end, we will all get a special little treat.

Hey buds. Just got a new computer on black friday special so I'm gonna be getting used to it for the next while. I'm not so sure I like Windows 11. But anyway, update of the next chapter may be even more delayed until I get used to my new keyboard. hopefully it is faster though and will allow me more writing time since I no longer need to be tied to the wall with the cord held a certain way.

Who knew a dog could be such a writing cockblock? I thought invading keyboard space was for cats, not fifty pound dogs who insist on cuddles and close your laptop!

I did it! I freaking did it. This chapter, I was so excited to write it, but it was so challenging to write. I really didn't want a copy paste of the original scene because it was so iconic. My God, Sesshomaru has one line in in and I stared at a blinking text bar for fifteen minutes because I couldn't figure out how he would talk in this situation. That's how hard this was.
          
          It isn't perfect, but it's still amazing now that it's done. Totally worth the pains of rewriting several paragraphs over and over and making only 200 word progress some nights (My norm is 400-700 words on a good night and 1000 if I can get in the flow). 
          
          Here's the sneak peek for Chapter 21: 
          
          "Bring her to me!" There was an audible tussle occurring outside the cocoon as Sango and Kirara attempted to keep the men back and away from the young, unarmed mortal girl. But there were obviously too many for even the skilled warrior and nekomata to hold off. 
          
          "No! No! Let go of me!"
          
          As she felt the bandit grab a fist-full of her hair and pull to gain control over the struggling girl as she swung her bow at him, a frightened, pained shriek left her lips. 
          
          Kagome's scream broke the last thread of control Inuyasha had on himself.

          Based on the Demon's True Nature arc, this and the next chapter are ones I was very eager to write when I found a way to fit them into my storyline as I formed this plot.
          
          The next chapter will probably take just as long, so please be patient. I get writers block now not because I have no idea where I'm going with this (Like I did with most of my Hunger Games fics way back when) but because there are just some things that I just cannot word the way I want or get stuck on during the action scenes.
          
          That's all I can really fit now with limited characters. Spice coming Next month or early next year ;P (Chapter 23 or 24)

New Chapter tomorrow if it kills me. I'm literally so close but I'm a little sick and the cold medicine has got me crying for my bed right now so I'm saving it for tomorrow so the end doesn't seem rushed. I hope you all enjoy it because I really did enjoy writing it despite the pain in the butt trying to find the proper flow for it was. I literally just finished the episode that this and the next chapter, (Yeah, another two parter that could have been one 20000 word chapter, but I wanted to get the first part out and had a really cool part to end on. Besides, that long definitely loses interest and drowns out the little details because it is just way too long)

Well hello everyone,
          
          20 is another one of the chapters that originally inspired this story and I'm happy to finally be diving in to the next few chapters after this set up. I am enjoying these long chapters so much because I don't feel like I skip around near as much with them and I can't wait to share more. 
          
          For now, how about we look into a peak for 20.
          
          ~
          Inuyasha felt his ears lower, a small, pup-like whimper trying to escape his throat. The war for acceptance, that was a fight he had battled nearly all his life. He knew she hadn't, not until she came here, where her welcome was warm, sure, but few went out of their way to talk to her. She came from a place where she had friends and loved ones in every corner of her life. 
          
          Here, this kind, loving princess who was putting so much of herself in keeping them safe from the yokai taint in the jewel would draw, she had maybe 6, 7 close friends if you counted Kirara. 
          
          And other than Sango, and maybe the cat, none of them were really that great of company for her.
          ~
          
          Truly a shorter sneak peak, but I really don't want to give too much away. Lets just say, we are going into a territory of one of my favorite storylines of the Inuyasha Manga and Anime with my own unique twist on it. 
          
          I do want to address though, we are approaching the first lemony chapter and that one will take a while to get right. 
          
          Afterall, Inuyasha smut? That's only been done what, thousands of times in the last 20 years? I want mine to make sense for both the established character development in my story and the canon as a whole. 
          
          All I will say about the next chapter to maybe hype it just a little even though I haven't typed a word yet is this:
          
          Blood, Butterflies, and Brother Fight (And just a hint of the overly brave Kagome that came out in the original incarnation of these scenes)

Hey Guys, 
          
          I got Chapter 19 out somewhat on schedule and took a few days off, which is why the official announcement post is only coming out now. It's kind of a random chapter, but it goes pretty well with setting up the mindspace that our two babes are in right now in preparation for Chapter 20. I am so ready for the plot of the next few chapters. It involves demons, and bandits, and allegory for some of my favorite anime episodes. 
          
          For right now, let's take a good look at Chapter 19 before I get too ahead of myself:
          
          The summer had been relatively quiet, almost giving off the impact that the whole run around they had gone through was just a run of bad luck. But he didn't trust it to stay that way anymore than Kagome did. 
          
          It was one of the main reasons that he no longer left her out of his sight for very long if he could help it. Why he no longer cared if she leaned against him when they sat together, or when she inevitably rolled onto him at night.
          
          Well, it wasn't the only reason, but it wasn't like the stubborn hanyo would ever admit it out loud.
           
          They had grown quite a deal closer after everything had happened. They certainly didn't speak about certain things that had happened, but it was apparent enough that he was much more openly accepting of Kagome as more than an honor bound  to him.  She was cherished and important, and he was much more openly accepting of the affection her kind heart so openly gave.

          Chapter 20 has been a long time coming and will be the first in another set of continuous chapters.  It is probably going to be mostly set up yet, with a bit of a cliff hanger, but I promise, as much as I can, that Chapter 21 will get us where we need to go next and hopefully, something worth the mature rating in the couple chapters after ;)
