the small child darted out from the table he’d been hiding under , over to the nearby table of party favor bags . it wasn’t his party , nor did he know whose it was — but he wanted one of those shiny little bags , and he was much too timid to ever ask if he could have one . so , he snatched one up while no one was looking and quickly returned to his hiding spot , eagerly opening up his prize .

@1987bites 〕 “…thank you…” he murmured , his voice barely audible in the noisy pizzeria — the expression of gratitude was so quiet coming from the miserable child that it could’ve been debated wether he said anything at all .

@nomorecryiing ࿐ the fox gave a little laugh ; he was very enthusiastic about food from the foxes view . they were quiet , allowing the child to eat all the candy they had given him . there was a quiet calm .

@1987bites 〕 the kid quickly snatched up the treat bag the moment it was in reach , tearing it open to start eating the candy . he seemed…a bit less miserable now , much more focused on eating the sweet treats as quickly as possible before someone could take it away from him .
