Well crafted words throw back the curtains and reveal a glorious garden outside, one I haven't seen before. The power of words is real. They ignite fires beneath soldiers, they comfort those with cloudy skies threatening to pour. Words can light up the mind like a candle in a dark room or lull it to sleep like the sound of a lullaby. They shine like the stars and sting like a slap to the face. Words hurt like a knife and heal like a loving embrace. They are sharp and soft, loud and quiet. Words express feelings I cannot speak and they hold as much devotion as a music note. For that I am grateful. For that I thank them.
