I'm writing under the name CS Monks. I'm a fellow  storyteller, healthcare advocate, teacher, word-gardener, and eternal lover of elephants.

I was born in South Africa, where the sky is wide and the bush speaks in rumble and dust. I now live in Switzerland, surrounded by mountains and the lake, but my stories still walk barefoot through the red earth.
