With a mustache and mirrored eyes, He sits in power behind a beast, that only few can contain. Concentration and Heart is one key in his mind that keeps his veteran mind focused at work in the middle of rolling thunder. As the number of the beast rides on known only as number 3. Along with 42 others they all make their way onto a legacy with the name DAYTONA.He isn't like others, what makes him different is his fierce determination. Slowly one by one the shadows in the Grandstands rise and the cheers begin for they see the sight of a very rare occurrence of man and machine... The Intimidator and Number 3. The day marks February 18, 2001. The air stays breezy but there is something different about this race day. You could tell by his talk and the swagger in his walk that he knew that this day was the day. On the last lap of the 500 everyone has heard about at least once, The black number 3 who came into turn 3 while in the 3rd place was about to leave an impact heard around the world. The Intimidator looks over to the scripture from D.W's. Wife Proverbs 18:10 ( The Lord Is A Strong Tower. The Righteous Will Run To it And Be Safe.)  Coming into turn 4 he closes his eyes and takes the last breath, takes His final resting place, And most of all takes the last turn not only for The Intimidator but also for the Legacy that was the number 3.
