Hey I have a request/question if you have the time for my Nalu/fairy tail fans. I am trying to find a one shot that was called heartbeat but I can’t remember what book it’s in or who wrote it.
In the one shot Lucy has a nightmare about Natsu dying and wakes up with him there. He calms her down but she doesn’t want to talk about it and goes to take a bath. He follows her in eventually and they beat around the bush until Lucy spills about her nightmare and fears and Natsu takes her hand and puts it on his chest so she can hear his heart beat to show her that he is in fact alive and well.

Well I hated my manager and now I do even more. Anyone else share the sentiment?

@ErinOfCarson well since getting an unofficial promotion I’m don’t have to interact with him as much which is nice. Less stress for me and more patience to deal with customers. But the thing is…and I don’t mean this to be mean just because I dislike him…but he’s an airhead who I usually have to clean up after if he leaves before me. Which isn’t fun, let me tell you. So it’s hard to get past the resentment I already feel. And while that work day itself wasn’t bad it was that he didn’t check with me before rearranging my requested hours off. It depends on the day and if anyone else annoyed me to a level of frustration honestly. But I can usually cool down pretty easily given some time and a few thoughts about whatever fandom related obsession I have that week. And yes I do but he’s been out for a few weeks now. I really miss him and hope he’s doing okay

@1bunnylover It's good to hear that you felt better, and I hope work has been okay since then! I know exactly what you mean though about difficult times where things just build up to make you exceptionally miserable or angry, and unfortunately people and their behavior can be one of those factors. As for your manager, I would try to forgive him. I know it may be easier for me to say since I'm not the one in the situation, but regardless, I wish you the best in this issue you're facing. I hope he changes his act soon! I hope he doesn't too strongly affect your job in a negative way either, making your work experience in general miserable, but I imagine that may tough depending on how big of a role he plays in your job, he is your manager after all. Do you at least have other people you're comfortable talking to at work?

@ErinOfCarson I was pretty mad this morning but I’m all good now. I mean I still very much hate my main manager but I have since he was transferred in. Today was just a poor combination of things regarding him and the job that sent me a bit over the top
