I am struggling with this thing in editing that you guys can help me out with... How dramatic should my book be? I like thriller a lot but I feel like I am overly thrillery sometimes and it might become boring for those who like a bit of drama here and there, so I don't want to cut out all the drama. A. 80% dramatic B. 60% dramatic C. 40% dramatic D. 20% dramatic I do have a super dramatic draft at the moment because I got carried away but it is annoying me how dramatic it is, probably a close 90% at the moment. My plot is complete, it is just my hard done by characters talking all this soppy dramatic dialogue, oof XD

@Midnight_Phantom18 Once I am done with the complete one so that I don't give away spoilers XD, I am still cringing at the dramatic version oof

Hey, it’s been forever since I heard from you! You doing alright?? <3

@1me2me3me yea, he was a great Prof. I miss him. And yes, it is!! I’m always itching to edit my drafts but I’m like nope. Nope, you know the cycle. The dreadful one. It repeats itself every time i edit it. And then I get consumed on editing and don’t continue with the story. You and me same. I still struggle with it, but I have noticed that if I don’t give it too much thought, it helps my story. Coz I’m thinking, I’m so close…so close to finishing it. Yea an other advice he gave me was, “if you’re writing and halfway through you realize that that wasn’t the direction you want your story to go and you want to change it a bit, go ahead and don’t go back to edit.. resist the temptation!! just write a small note next to it explaining what you plan to do. Like a sticky note saying that the actual story actually starts here or something around those lines depending on what the story leads. Something small and go ahead and write what came to mind instead of stopping and going all the way to edit it all.” He told me that will only “ stop the progress and take me back to the start. And my novel won’t get finished.” And I remember being like everything sounds like me. No wonder I never finish any of my novels. XD

@Midnight_Phantom18 That is a great point your prof. makes, publishing the drafts. The hardest part of that is having the courage to post the drafts before editing, knowing you will have to go back later but then you will be making great progress and actually moving on with the story instead of holding it back. That is what I seem to have trouble with. I write a couple of chapters but don't want to post it because knowing my annoying self, a few chapters later I will find myself desperately needing to change around those first chapters for the entire thing to make sense instead of changing the latter chapters to fit with the first chapters. :| It is damn annoying lol

@1me2me3me ahhhhhhh!!!! I’m so glad you responded!!! I thought you weren’t going to till like years later or something. I thought you left Wattpad. I know lots of possible who are leaving and it’s downright sad :( I’m glad to hear!!! It’s definitely believable. Trust me. I’m working on a book that I I’ve been “working” on for four years now but it’s something i work on, on and off. I get busy and forget about it for a year then I work on it. With this rate I have no idea when I’ll finish it. I’m eager to read your book!! I love plot twists!! Yes. And then I’m gonna blink and it’ll be 2023. Each year I’m feeling older and older. I don’t like it at all. XD I’m doing well. Been so busy that I’m not writing on Wattpad often. But when I am, I’m just posting my drafts because if I don’t then I’ll never want to finish it. So I’m forcing myself to publish my drafts. And I’d rather not. I’d rather edit my work to perfection but my Prof. was like, “no stop. You never finish anything coz you always are changing it.” So now I’m like well damn. He’s right. But I’m like whatever I’ll just write drafts here and then after I finish then. I’ll take them off and edit them properly. It’s the only way to motivate me and finish my story so people don’t have to see how terribly my writing skills are. So yep. I’ve been good.

Joke for all the time I have been gone: What do you call a calculator that works immediately? A calcu-now XD Sorry, I haven't posted anything in ages but I am still alive! I haven't been active in a while but truthfully I have been editing my books on google docs, I am just having trouble making them perfect :/ Hope you all have been well and happy. I am going to try and start posting my book, I just have to get over the fact that nothing is perfect, 1me2me3me. 1me2me3me

Damn, does anyone else have a moment when they discover a ton of hobbies they want to try out at once. Life can get stressful lol. I need to publish my book so bad. I have a million drafts(exaggeration) but I am finally on my final and I am going to force myself for this to be my last. In the mean time, I will create pictures of the cast, hopefully. Oof, please help me face app.

@1me2me3me THERE YA GO! It's a struggle but don't let any of em go. It's the worst thing you can do, trust me, let go of drawing for a while and now can't seem to pick it back up and learn it the same way. It's hard.

@Mad_Professor Yeah, I lately have been wanting to do writing, piano and animation and damn, a bunch of hobbies is hard work, ain't it? Especially will work/school as well. I found this awesome free app called Blender and it is just the best for animation so I won't be giving up any hobby anytime soon. Time to practise multitasking, oof. XD

@1me2me3me I feel. Discovered a passion for playing the bass, I've always enjoyed working on cars and wanting to get into painting and old school pinstriping, then there's like 20 drafts(may or may not be an exaggeration) in my drafts that I need to work on but I've been caught up in writing Little Lady cause I ADORE that book and the characters I've created, and photography. And sooo much more hahahahaja.

So here is me, stressing for 5 mins because I couldn't figure out why my headphones completely stopped working. I was listening to downloaded music and then went off onto spotify to look for more music. As soon as I press play on a song, the sound cuts out. I search and everything is just saying the cable may be broken. I go into setting and click on the hearing adjustment settings and it works fine. I then search 'Headphones only not working for music' and it says check the volume. And walla, my music works again, therefore I had a mini panick attack for no reason. I have done this twice now and I hadn't learnt my lesson. Oof

Joke of the day: How many times can you subtract 10 from 100? Once. The next time you would be subtracting 10 from 90.

Joke of the day: Sometimes I tuck my knees into my chest and lean forward. Thats just how I roll.

Who else over edits? It sucks. I should be done with my books by now- well they are technically done but I keep adding and it annoys me because I just want to be able to fix the mistakes instead of making a whole new chapter. Hope some advice I found of google helps. Get this done 1me2me3me!

@1me2me3me OH NOOO!! I'd panic too!! That's too much hard work to lose and it's always so needlessly difficult to recover.

@Mad_Professor Yes! I woke up like at three in the morning and opened my phone to find chunks missing and zbgzhxhxhshshshshshhshhhsshhsdhdhdhdhbdbdhdhhhdhdhdhdhhdhdhdhdhdyeydyeyehsyehehehshdhshdhdhdb in its place. I didn't realise I moved so much in my sleep, lol. I panicked all early hours of the morning until the next day when I was updating my apps and my long lost writing app was there.
