Hello, wonderful followers! I have a few, big announcements for Kota's Tidal Wave that I'm really excited for!
          
          1. Chapter 18 is practically finished and I will post it tomorrow after editing! My summer projects and personal life got in the way often, but I've finally gotten around to writing my *favorite* chapter yet! I hope you'll enjoy it!
          
          2. One of my readers has convinced me to create a Discord server for Kota's Tidal Wave! This seemed like a wonderful idea, as I've always want to interact with my readers some more. I've come up with dozens of roles and chanels for it to be a wonderful place to have fun online: chat about anything, come up with story ideas, and potentially stream anime for everyone to watch! The server is made, but I haven't finished setting it up, so the invite link will be available at a later date. Stay tuned!
          
          3. I will be publishing a sub-book to Kota's Tidal Wave: a charater guide! As new characters are introduced and familiar My Hero Academia characters are brought into the story, I thought it'd be fun to make a cool guide about every character that I would update periodically. It'll be extrac content formated similarly to a wikia page, but each character will also include a bit of trivia never revealed in the main box, as well as how I came up with that character and what inspirations they come from. Hopefully the character guide will help you come up with characters for your own stories!

Helloooo!! It's nearly time for Chapter 18 of Kota's Tidal Wave! Here's a preview for my followers that I am thankful for!
          
          Kota has made a promise to meet up with Eri at Sanaruko Park, a lovely part of Hamamatsu with a grand lake and plenty of colorful flowers. Though, Fat Gum's training of all the students has taken a bit longer than expected, which means trouble if Kota wants to arrive on time! 
          
          During their time together, although she appreciates Kota's support, Eri will show just how capable she can be on her own! This is also their last chance for some long, meaningful time together before Kota must return to Shiketsu. What will Kota do?
          
          Finally, a first for this story! We'll switch over to Hatsu's perspective, while he's exploring the facets of youth he's never experienced before while growing up in the underbelly of Osaka. It'll shed some light into the mysterious son of Muscular, proving Hatsu can be a decent guy! ...Until someone from Hatsu's past decides--

I'm freeeeeeeee!!! My school semester is finally over and after two months I can finally work on Chapter 17 for Kota's Tidal Wave! Now I have all the time of three months for writing chapters and working on fan art!
          
          Chapter 17 preview: "The Blink of an Eye" starts with the final event of the Grand Sports Festival, the Speed & Agility Event. We'll be skipping over the Performing Arts Event and the Scavenging Event to not drag the arc too long, but this chapter makes up for that with all kinds of goodies!
          
          Satsuki Asui, Mejiki Kusari, and Homuran Yabusame are representing Shiketsu in the race between six schools! Fun fact: I'm an engineering student, and what I've always wanted to do with this fic is show you all really awesome quirks that are inspired by fields of physics and engineering. Don't worry, nothing complicated! But you'll be blown away by what the quirks of these three students can do!
          
          Lots of other characters get their moments in this chapter. Tai (aka Former Fat Gum) steps up to the plate, Hatsu tries getting out of his shell, and we end with a very... interesting conversation between Kota and Katsuma. Stay tuned!

Hello again! Chapter 16 of Kota's Tidal Wave comes out tomorrow morning! I'd like to give a small preview of what to expect!
          
          *Kanashimu's backstory!* Hatsuiku Kanashimu revealed last chapter that he is in fact the son of the Carnal Murderer: Muscular. How will Kota react to this? What was Kanashimu's childhood like? Will these two ever be able to see each other as friends?
          
          Also, our favorite second-years get some spotlight! Expect some fun interactions with Kota and his friends!

Hello!! I'm here to announce that Chapter 15 of Kota's Tidal Wave will be finished very soon! Here's a very quick sneak peak!
          
          It's the first years' Combat Event at the Grand Sports Festival! The mental wound between Kota and Kanashimu still runs deep, but they need to put aside any conflict between them if they have to work together! Will it really be that easy?
          
          The chapter will solely focus on the battle between Shiketsu and U.A. High! Get ready for a special plot twist in this chapter that I've been building up since the beginning of the book! You'll also get to learn more about Nensho, and you'll especially learn more about Kanashimu! You'll also see the new, interesting Quirks of the U.A.'s Class 1-A!
          
          This is the chapter I've been working on for a month by balancing between writing and school, and I'm glad it's almost finally done! I hope you guys will like it!

Chapter 14 is almost done! Took a bit longer to write due to the holidays. This time I won't set a deadline for myself since it's been difficult for me to meet those, haha!
          
          Chapter sneak peak! Kota's excited to meet with Eri, and Tamashiro gives Kota some "expert's help" on how to prepare! Though, it seems Kota sortaaa forgot to ask Shishikura if he could go in the first place. Kota and Eri eventually meet, and... they're a bit frazzled. Though, after enough interraction, Eri finally speaks up about what bothers her, right before Kota has to get back to U.A. to represent his school! Finally, we end with a cameo of a certain popular character that I feel some readers were dying to see in the story!
          
          One last thing! I've been getting pretty confident in my fanart lately, so I want to start drawing characters from Kota's Tidal Wave! You know I have to start with Kota! Chapter 13 is finally out! So sorry that it took longer than I said it would, more things came up, but I hope you enjoy this special chapter! I'm already beginning work on Chapter 14 right now!

Finally, a new chapter for Kota's Tidal Wave comes sometime tomorrow! I've been so busy, but I'm excited to show you guys this chapter! Kota and his class arrive in beautiful Hamamatsu, known as Japan's "City of Music". You'll see the aftermath of Kota and Kanashimu's confrontation, and also how Kota feels about returning to U.A. as a Shiketsu student. And within the festivities of the Grand Sports Festival, Kota will meet again with two important people: his heroic icon, Deku, and a special girl who's finally coming back to the story. :)
