I feel like, (and I’m not throwing any shade to anybody) I’m so tired of the hood nigga meets nice girl trope. Like we need to find some creativity!! And I think a lot of authors who write romances should watch sitcoms and romcoms because it genuinely helps
No seriously, it’s cut every once in a while but it gives same plot, hood meets nice girl, they mess, they argue cs he won’t leave the streets, she pregnant after they broke up, he get out the streets and move into a big house n boom married. That’s literally the reason I started ur book shameless at first I was like ehhh I don’t like the doctor plot but it literally got interesting like finally ain’t nobody getting shot and killed 24/7 (when we getting the next chapter tho???)
