Hello everyone!
Just wanted to take a moment and give a little update to the status of Azure Dragon Emperor.
And, well… it’s not looking pretty, to say the least. Mainly due to how hard it would be to get back into it right now.
See, nearly a year ago, my phone decided to commit ctrl+alt+delete on itself and wipe EVERYTHING I had. Including the MASSIVE stockpile of notes and plans I had for the series. Unfortunately, said notes were not backed up. So it’s all gone. Arcs, characters, plots, everything I had planned and developed over the many years of writing that story just…erased.
I’m trying to remember what I had and come up with some new stuff, but it’s harder than I thought it’d be.
That said, I’m not gonna just up and give up on it. Not yet. I do plan I continuing it one day, but my main focus has shifted as I’m sure you know. So until then, I do hope you’ll continue to wait it out and support me and my other projects.

@Zachary4014 probably much worse than a glitch, considering I had to get an entirely new phone because the old one had to be completely factory reset

Third, and forgive me for asking, but can I perhaps get a date where you *might* update your DxD story again? It’s one of the few stories that features my lovely Saber and it’s also a really good read.
I know you said that you won’t be working on it for a while, but when do *you* think you would blow the dust away and work on it again?

Question for y’all, because I’m kind of tired of being frustrated over this.
A girl, work crush, and fairly close friend nearly maid me lose my balance on a ladder and almost made me fall. I was changing a lightbulb in the ceiling and was standing on my tip toes on a fairly small step ladder. Arms up at the ceiling. The moment the light came back on I was blinded and defenseless. She comes up behind me and pats me behind the knee—you know, one of the most sensitive and reactionary parts of the leg and almost made me lose my balance. I could have fallen forward, at best hurting myself or breaking my nose or suffer a head injury. OR, called backwards and injured my back—or worse, hit my head on the edge of something and suffered a concussion or died. I called out to her multiple times as she left and she didn’t react. I was getting frustrated because she seemed to make light of my well being being at risk. I ran out to her and told her not to do that because it’s dangerous. Her only responses were, “Are you afraid of heights?” I told her I kind of was. But that wasn’t the point. Then she just said “okay” and walked off to her car. No apology or anything. I haven’t directly spoken to her in days and have been upset with her since. Am I tripping and am making this a bigger deal that I should?
@1stlovingreader im gonna be blunt, you have every right to be upset over that, my view of the circumstances surrounding her however are that she may not even understand what it was that was wrong. Or as several people have put it, she may have willingly done that to see if she could get a rise out of you. So what i would advise is to either get her to understand and apologize for it. Or you avoid her and keep awareness of her on the chance she does anything like this again. Cause if its the latter point, she will try and do something similar again. Even if unintentionally.
@1stlovingreader Stay away from people like that. I've had similar encounters with people who I thought were my friends. They may claim to be friends, but in my own experience, it's only an excuse to create trouble for you, an easy way to bully you while you try to make the "friendship" Work. People like that loved watching how you would react and once you start standing up for yourself, they undermine it, or just make it seem like it's no big deal because it's not them dealing with the predicament. Just a suggestion, if she is truly a friend who wants your companionship. Simply ignore her, don't answer her calls, text, and let her realize how bad she's losing your time and effort. If she pleads and apologizes, then she's learning what she did. If not, then she's clearly a fake one.
No, you are right to be upset. Her carelessness nearly resulted in an injury. My thoughts would be to avoid her unless absolutely necessary. She has demonstrated a complete disregard and/or lack of empathy for your safety and concerns. At the very least maintain this until she understands exactly what the problem is and atones.
So I’m planning on having some crossovers in my Hellaverse story. Which would be easier? Separate posted stories or continued chapter publishing? I will have the arcs labeled to help differentiate from the in universe chapters. Let me know what you guys think.
