Hey! It took me awhile to recover this account and first order of business: I will be taking out the About Us trilogy due to the following reasons:
1. New (young) readers might glamorize and romanticize relationships that is frowned upon by the norms... you know which relationship I'm talking about.
2. I've grown and that story doesn't resonate and sit well with me anymore.
3. I realized how creepy and pedophilic it may look. I know that it's not-- that wasn't my intention when I wrote it for people (like myself. Yes. Like myself) who have had some cutesy fantasies about someone who just happened to be a few years older than their selves feel less alone. But from an outsider's (and an adult's) perspective-- it may seem like it.
I wouldn't be taking it out completely off Wattpad though. Instead, I will TRY to revise the whole thing, compile it into a one damn book and publish it again. I love Kulas, Julian, and Evan's character so much that I can't bear the thought of erasing their fictional existence completely; as well as the memories I had when I was in high school and writing the chapters late at night on a school night.
Thanks for the love and support you have been giving me since I was 15. It's truly great to share a space with people of the same passion and interest. I want to come back and share what I write, and read what you share, and go back to the safe haven and healthy escape (Wattpad being one of them) and be in and out of the messed up reality we have- that is life.
