Today is World Pilots' Day! ✈️
So, greetings to all of my pilot characters: from Yumi, Xav, Yvie, Sage, Christine, Jared and to Batch Foxtrot 2018 and their instructors and school mates (FLIGHT series); all the way to César and the Sixth Pursuit Squadron (ARTIFICIAL HORIZON: A César Fernando Basa x Reader story). Happ World Pilots' Day to all of us!
Read the stories below if you're after more trivia about aviation, because I do not shy away from the ugly truth of our glamorous and glittering industry:
• FLIGHT series (modern and romance)
•• FLIGHT PLAN (completed)
•• FLIGHT DECK (under revision)
•• FLIGHT PATH (hiatus)
•• FLIGHT LEVEL
• ARTIFICIAL HORIZON: A César Fernando Basa x Reader story (historical)
Btw, tomorrow's our graduation ceremony; the mark of my flight training completion from Zero hours to being a Commecial Pilot License holder, Instrument Rated, and Airbus A320 First Officer rated!

Hey, how are you? I just have a question. Are you planning to make a fanfic about the history movie "GOMBURZA"?
23meraki
@Rakf777 Hello, and thank you for reaching out! I am doing well, and currently seeking for a job. However, enough about it as I hope you're also doing well. Regarding your question, I am sorry to say that I currently have no plans to write a fanfic about the world of the GomBurZa movie. To be honest, I currently have no plans (as of the moment) to create another historical novel after that of "DEAD RECKONING: A Gregorio del Pilar x Reader story" and "ARTIFICIAL HORIZON: A Cesár Fernando Basa x Reader story", the latter being the latest one. I am sorry about that, and I hope you'll understand that I want to deliver the best stories I could make when inspiration and ideas really spark. In the end, I am not closing any doors when it happens in the future. -Capt. J

Today, at 1315H, I am to take the CAAP Airbus A320 Skill Test—the final step for me to be a type-rated pilot of the said plane, a multi-engine jet airliner plane. Surprisingly, I do not have the shivers; very much, I am excited. Which is a first compared to the previous check rides I have with a CAAP check pilot.
In about 15 hours, I'll finally be able to say that I am all set to conquer the skies the next as a First Officer.
Wish me all the luck! (Even though we're supposed not to believe in luck, but in the good foundation of our training and experience as pilots. )

Good day!
FLIGHT series #1 "FLIGHT PLAN" by Wednesday (10 January 2024) will be completely released once more after roughly two months and two weeks of editing and revision.
With that being said, the completion of the story will be marked with a new book cover, and the unpublishing of FLIGHT series #2 "FLIGHT DECK", and stories from the FLIGHT series collection "FLIGHT LEVEL". Both stories will also undergo revisions and editing; and as it will coincide with me starting my Airbus A320 simulator training, publication of newly edited chapters will take time; hopefully, I'll be done with it as I consider it as my "unwinding moment" from the "sira body clock schedule" and "pagsusunog kilay review".
However, I am also planning to returning with the works of FLIGHT series #3 "FLIGHT PATH", so hope you'll just continue watching out for it!
Also, you can reach me out for questions and inquiries through DM, Twitter and CuriousCat at @23meraki. Or at sayout: 23meraki.sayout.net.
Dream fearlessly, fiercely and freely. Continue flying high and God bless. ❤️

Good day!
Today marks César's 82nd death anniversary, so you know what the latest bonus chapter of the "ARTIFICIAL HORIZON: A César Fernando Basa x Reader story" would be… It is currently the longest chapter I've written and published, and we can all say that prepare rolls and rolls of tissue. It will be a ride.
Regarding my life lately, I've shared it on the bonus chapter. I am stuck here with UPRT, and my brain is about to explode with all the information overload. Still a wonder how come pilots handle this much. Guess I'll be using inspirational quotes from our instructors for the succeeding bonus chapters in the future! For now, my favorite quote had been: "Anyone can fly a plane, but is it safe?" Only one of the reasons why we deal with everything there is to know about the plane.
Anyhow, bonus chapter's available. Be prepared.

"Perhaps war was due to fear: to fear of reliability. Unless there was truth, and unless people told the truth, there was always danger in everything outside the individual." ---T.H. White, The Once and Future King
I don't know if you've heard the recent news of conflict going on between Israel and Hamas. As a writer who've also touched the subject of war and rebellions, and that of history, wars were always the two sides of the same coin. There was an oppressor and an oppressed, the strong and the weak; no matter which side was the righteous and the guilty, only one thing was for sure: those powerless and innocents who were caught in between were not just victims to be tallied as numbers. Lives are and were to be lost.
Rather than praying for one side, better yet pray that both sides would resist the temptation of conflict.
