Currently in my 5th Megaman X hyper fixation. And before you ask, no, me obsessing over it day and night has not once included me actually playing the forking game. Not even once.   And yes, I have tried to play it many many times. You'd think me loving 2d platformers would make X series one of my favourite games. But hell to the nah, my friend. I mean, the games are just too hard!!! I always try them out and then can barely make it past the intro stage, even on easy mode! Though, I have actually managed to make it through most of X4, even past the stupid chaser bike sequence that I hate with all my heart and soul. (Every good game has to have a shitty driving and/or rhythm game sequence that sucks ass and ruins your enjoyment of the game. I probably made it through so much of X4 because I was playing as Zero, and I find him way easier to play as, maybe it's because of all my years of playing Shantae. Now THAT'S a crossover we need to see, lol, XD. You just take so much fkn damage in the X games and dying means doing it ALL OVER AGAIN. I try and try because I am a loser obsessed with MMX but I always give up after 2 hours stuck on the same stage, because I don't find it fun. And if a game is ever not fun? I immediately stop playing it. We have limited time on this earth and why would I waste it away playing a game I don't like when I have so so many games I DO like playing? Why figure out a new game when I have the comfort of getting my ass kicked in a fighting game, or losing constantly every game of mobile legends because of shitty teammates, or trying the same touhou pattern over and over 700 times before I clear it once?...ok maybe I have a problem, what makes the X series so different that I lose and decide not to play it when I play touhou which most normal people would say is a million times harder?
