Not everyone knows this, but you can earn coins by going to your profile, clicking the image of the coin & plus sign, go to earn coins, & watch the ads. 3 max daily each gives 1 coin. Enough for buying chapters in paid stories. Apparently it doesn't work for everyone, sorry if it doesn't.
