Sword takes a moment to steady himself before the tip of his blade is now against your neck, his hands still shaking, tears still falling down his face
"I..." He stutters, before looking down, unable to see you in the eyes. "I'm so sorry...!"
".. Sword."
Sword jolts a little as you say his name, before he looks up at you, his expression still panicked, and his eyes red from crying.
"I forgive you."
Sword's expression changes to a mix of confusion and disbelief, before he lets out a choked sob, his breathing now becoming sporadic, and his shoulders shaking even more.
"You.. forgive me?...after all of this?.."
"I love you, a lot. And we've been through it all together."
"I'm glad I got to share it with you."
"I.. I love you just as much.."
Sword lets out a shaky sigh, a bittersweet smile forming on his face, despite the situation.
"You always stuck by me, no matter what..."
He continues to smile as he speaks, but the look of sadness and pain is still in his eyes, tears streaming down his face.
"We've had a lot of good times together.... and this is how it ends? With me holding a sword to your throat..?"
"I at least still get to be with you, even at the end."
Sword's shoulders visibly shake as he lets out a laugh at what you said. It's a pained and sad laugh, but it's a laugh nonetheless.
"Even in your last moments, you're still trying to make me feel better, aren't you...?"
"Of course, I love you, why wouldnt I want you to be okay?"
Sword lets out a shaky breath, still looking at you as he holds the sword to your neck, the blade not yet piercing your skin.
"You're too nice.. too forgiving.. I don't deserve you.."
"You've always deserved someone to help you Sword.."
