          If you are unsure of the base maker, then don't use the base. It's ok if you can't link them, just a simple username and platform will suffice! (For example, (username) on deviantart)
          
          If they are on this platform, you can @ them! 
          
          tl;dr don't know who made a base? don't use it

Hey bros! Just gonna say this here so I don't have to say it again: 
          
          Credit your damn bases. If you don't, I hate you. Leave.
          
          Now that you are angry, let's think about this.
          
          You use a base someone made to make adopts or characters. That's fine. That's what they are for. You then post them without credit even though in the base description, it specifically asked for credit. If you can't link the base for some odd reason, at least credit the base maker. Not doing that makes you an art theif. There. I said it.
