“I haven't started anything yet,” she replied. “I've been experiencing an annual writer's block.” Xael added, laughing.

I laughed. "Sure, you can be an actress anytime now. But, today's not a perfect time tho."

“Good evening, though. How was your day, Lara?” Xael greeted.

"my journal's first entry has exactly 800 words. seriously" she muttered while preparing to write for another page. 

"What? Are you from a cave or something?" I laughed. "Kidding aside, it's like a shortcut for 'what are you up to' sooo, what's up?"

"Oh, hey there Thai girl."I exclaimed. "What's up?"

“Uh, I'm sorry. I slept through.” Xael uttered. “Good afternoon, by the way!” she greeted with a smile.

He was utterly speechless and creeped out. "What's with her?" He looked back and decided to catch up on you. "Hey! Wait up!" He shouted in the cold air.
