This is my first time writing fanfiction. I was just not very satisfied by the storyline for Hogwarts Legacy. I love the characters and the game is beautiful and fun, but it felt like the main story was very basic and fell into the "You're a super special hero with powers that no one else has and you are gonna save the world" trope that almost every game has. I wanted to write a story using the general setting of the game but with a MC that was not overpowered and who had problems and experiences that normal people could actually relate to that were at least semi historically accurate
