My family always said I had a way with words. Moreover, I should do something with that talent otherwise, what's the point of having it, right? As a young girl, I wrote fantasy stories about misty, fern-lined canyons that contained unicorns and trolls lurking around every tree. As I got older, writing became poetry. In the world before the internet was born, my writings were never created to make a name for myself. They were creations for family and friends written on birthday cards and scribbled on notebooks. Now that an online presence is possible, I have created Facebook reels on a page dedicated to my poetry and the graphic arts that I design for them. I want the world to enjoy the written word. So, read, feel, and become ensconced in the ambience. Imagination and the worlds we create in our minds are the escape from reality we all need.
