Hi 4avidreader, thank you for the comments. I wrote a mild chapter this time:-) Mpox is like chicken pox but worse. I'm glad you are safe. I always vote as well. It's my right. It's hard to keep up with all the things that's been happening around the world. Maybe it's best to ignore everything. Enjoy your trip. I'll be traveling next week as well. Hi 4avidreader, it's been a while since we wrote each other? How are you? I have been sick for a while now. My cough doesn't subside. My sister finally left. I can recuperate in peace now. How are things on your side? It has stopped raining here. Covid has started popping up here too. I pray every day that things don't escalate. I'm on break. I'll try to update regularly. Hi friend. We're also in a drought. Hopefully that changes soon. I totally enjoy my own company, so I don't get lonely. As for covid in the states, I'm noticing more and more people wearing masks. Btw...what on earth is Mpox? Regarding voting...do you mean in the upcoming presidential race? Regardless the race...I always vote. Yes, being black...and female...my right to vote was way to hard to come by....to not exercise my civic duty! Stay safe and well, Mieke.

Hello, my friend, how are you doing? The world is going to hell. It hasn't rained in weeks here. It's hot and unbearable. My sister is flying back to Holland tomorrow. My mother isn't back yet, so I'm lonely lol. Covid hasn't disappeared yet and we have Mpox now. I hope they will come up with a solution soon. Are you planning to cast a vote this time around? Hey Miekehogeboom, yeah, it seems like it's been awhile. Like you, I've been plagued with this wheeze, from allergies. Whenever the seasons start to change, I have an issue. I'm sure you enjoyed spending time with your sister, and she with you. The weather here is as bipolar as usual. The heat is beating us down...it's dry as a bone one week, and flooding the next! As for covid cases...there have been two cases in my neighborhood. I hope you get better soon...so you can enjoy your break! My cousin just bought an RV and we're going to take a few trips in the next month or so, to get comfortable setting u at campgrounds,...before driving cross country, to my sister's. I can't wait! I wish I could share some of my pics with you, of my travels. Anyway, talk soon.

Thank you! My mother is still not well. She's end stage renal failure. The weather here is hotter than the devil's armpits! It's nice that your break is starting soon. School is gearing up to start here in about a week. Me, I've been zoned in watching the Olympics. I'm excited about your newest update! I hope you are doing well and enjoy your break!

Hi 4avidreader, how are you? It has been raining here heavily as well. The rain makes it hard to move. I can't take the muddy streets. I have been busy lately. My mother is traveling again. I'm on my own for now. I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I hope she is doing better. My thoughts and prayers are with you, my friend. I hope you enjoyed the previous installment. @Miekehogeboom, thank you! Yeah, we've been getting a lot of rain as well my plants aren't all handling it so well. I hope you get a chance to enjoy your solitude...if you're that type of person. I am. I truly enjoy my own company. Oh, I enjoy visiting with friends...and even strangers...but I cherish my alone time. I hope your mother enjoys her travels.

Hi 4avidreader, how are you? I'm doing great for now. You have trouble with the heat while here it rains every day. God works in mysterious ways. I tell you. My aunt called me from Holland yesterday regarding Covid. She told me to be careful because they have many cases as well. It's flu season here, so I don't know what we will do if Covid comes knocking. How is your health now? Are your fur babies enjoying the weather. Have an amazing time with your friends and family, my friend and until soon.

@Miekehogeboom, it's been raining here a lot lately. It can get very humid...muggy with our high temps. I'm glad you're doing well! Hopefully your aunt will have better news next you speak with her. I know no one wants a resurgence of covid. We're all grateful to have survived it once. My furbabies and I are doing well...nothing to complain about. My mom has been in the hospital three weeks...out of the last five weeks...but we'll she's better now. Stay safe and well my friend!

@Miekehogeboom, I'm doing great. How are you? I'm glad the hurricane didn't hit you all. I rarely watch tv....so I had no idea about Beryl. I'm glad you'll be able to do something with my rambling...hopefully it'll serve your characters and plot well. Covid seems to be ramping up here. Hopefully your area isn't having to deal with that.
