After waiting since 2019 for a camhs (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) mental health assessment and being referred to camhs by 6/7 different professionals, I finally have a mental health assessment tomorrow morning. Tho, tbh I'm a bit scared because I've never had an ACTUAL mental health assessment, and I've heard nothing but negative things about camhs, so yeah, I'm quite worried about that. Also, if I'm too truthful, I might get sectioned under the mental health act, which will jeopardise almost any chance of me getting a job or anything in the future. The stress about tomorrow is keeping me awake, so I'm getting a lot done, which ig is making a positive out of a negative. But yeah, I'm absolutely shitting myself for tomorrow lmao.
