Hello! I’ve seen a thread of comments today with you having a difference of opinion with another reader and I just wanted to come and apologize to you personally. It’s not a valid excuse but I was very immature when I wrote that joke, and I didn’t think about how people with similar/the same disability’s as Shamar would have felt when they read it. My job as an author is to make readers feel welcomed and to make them have a giggle or two, never to offend! Im sorry that I’ve offended you, and I will do better!

hi ! thank you so much for apologizing…I really do appreciate it…and I completely understand being young and making immature jokes…I’ve been there…all that matters that we make sure to learn from them you know ? personally, I don’t have the same disability as shamar’s but I do have a disease that affects my daily life and disables me…you’re a great author…I know you didn’t mean any harm at all ! I really do appreciate you taking the time to reach out personally.
