I don't know what to write about me so here is a five-stanza poem that I love.

Kamadeva

M. Eminescu

With the sorrows of the fondness
I have tried my soul to cure;
Therefore in my sleep I called on
Kamadeva, God of lure.

The child came astride a parrot,
Lofty as a God he is,
A deceitful smile displaying
On his coral-sculptured lips.

Between wings, into his quiver,
Had instead of arrows kept,
Flowers envenomed with passions
From magnificent Ganges picked.

With his bow he loosed a flower,
Stuck it right into my soul;
Ever since I cried, was hopeless,
Couldn't sleep at night at all...

With the wrath of poisoned arrow
Came to throw me to confusion
The proud progeny of Heaven
And of desert, vain illusion.
