Basically you can’t write smut, gore, use of substances, mention self-harm, if there is no greater narrative which these themes support in your story. So no one shot smut just for the sake of pornography alone without any plot. So we’re good, these guidelines don’t really affect us.

Hi, I just republished Sweet Teeth as I had taken it down for a while. I thought that because of the issues I was going through at the time of writing it I would want to rewrite it, but I've been reading it throughout today and I actually really, really love what I did so far. I only fixed mistakes and aesthetic issues (that I've noticed) and put it back up.
now I would like to invite everyone again to it. it is already at the seventh chapter, and the action, drama, and secrets are slowly unfolding, and I am so excited for this book♡ I hope you will all love it as well♡

and I mean rather a scene or plot or a moment than writing style, cause it's very personal what comes to who naturally btw!! your style is nice and you do not need to change it, unless you want to try and appeal to more people yourself

@strbrsweet no, your writing is at beautiful and clear at once. you use it subtle enough to not stand out then, because when I read older classics and they use some of those old expressions, spellings or grammar from old English, it gives me a headache and your books don't. I just think when your thoughts spiral around your book maniacally (if you ever have this) and you cannot figure something out, then reading something else for guilty pleasure can refresh your creative process or inspire you somehow in a way you did not consider before

@666biteme well, actually my biggest inspirations behind my writing are old classic books which is why my writing can sometimes sound a little bit archaic. But oh well, I definitely think it also makes it a little bit more unique. You are right though, I really need to get back to fic reading to modernize my writing a little bit and make it more digestible.
