I am Starlight, self-named after my cat. I am a picky reader and have a thing about grammar being correct (sorry!). I like reading classics such as Heidi and Black Beauty but I am also now taking an interest in dystopian novels and fantasy, a new found fan of the Throne of Glass series.

Though I am easily a better reader than writer, I like writing in first person and about younger characters. I am starting to write in many genres but I'm most comfortable writing about realistic storylines - hence my latest book Elementals is proving challenging! However, I think this is one of the best pieces of writing I've done so far, especially with the help of my friends.
