I have received a comment on my Jay Park book about how “fashion nova makes clothes for over weight people”... and honestly it pissed me tf off.
ALL body types are beautiful and valid. making that book I didn’t want to make Arden a stick thin korean girl - therefore i made her latina and curvy. i felt that it was better to do since latina and curvy characters are rarely shown in Kpop books. i want people that read this book to feel included and not feel alienated from not looking “ideal”. being curvy and over weight myself, i felt this comment was unfair to my girlies out there. everyone who reads this is beautiful and deserving of everything in the world... don’t lose sleep over insecure women bringing others down :)
