Alpha Kane by Amina Adamou

“Alpha Kane” by the AnyStories writer, Amina Adamou, is a paranormal romance story set in a world where humans, werewolves, fairies, wizards, trolls, and other creatures live and interact with each other. It tells the story of Ember Yale, an omega perceived as a weakling to some especially to his alpha mate and is often ignored throughout school until he found out her mate is the famous of a jerk alpha’s son, Kane Wilder, in one of their school’s hallway. That was the most embarassing moment for her that happened in school, and the most torturing turning point of some aspects of her life. A lot has happened then that would make you doubt if is she really a weakling like the omega she is, and a lot also happened that would make you wonder Kane’s intentions and question his actions towards Ember. Then add it all up with a funny annoying best friend, and more bunch of magical creature friends (or not) encounters. Oh well.

Anyway, the book was beautifully written that you would find yourself enthralled with the story as you read. I love how the author used clear descriptive words, and humor to tell the happenings— it really helps readers to slowly understand the plot and the characters. And speaking of the characters, I am sure you will fall in love with them. I love that there is character development happening in some of the characters (especially the main pair, Kane and Ember), evident as you go through the story. Don’t worry, you will know them more if you choose to give the book a go, I highly recommend it.
However, I feel sad that the book is a locked story though, available only in AnyStories. I understand that the author has a right to be paid for her works (especially if the story is as good as this one), it is just that I fear it would not be accessible for everyone when it deserves more. Well, I also know that is not for me to decide. I respect the author. I think all I’m saying is that please decide to give this book a go, read the first few chapters and if you would wish to continue, atleast you have been foretold that there is a price. Up to you if it’s worth it but for me it really is.

Overall, I would like to give this book 9 out of 10. It’s a good read. As for you, do you love to read about hot/beautiful werewolves, handsome wizards, kind fairies and the likes too? Do you want to have a good laugh/smile ‘cause of stories of friendship and romance told in a funny sarcastic way? Are you willing to pay and have a good read the rest of your time? Then this beautiful work, “Alpha Kane” by Amina Adamou, is for you.
