I’ve read incredible stories which just blew me away. They (the authors) honestly inspired me on a few writing pieces, because it was crafted so beautifully. Unfortunately, most of them left, or were on hiatus, but I would like to give a public shout-out to them.
          
          It still amazes me that people actually read my work. I had a person say they were inspired by me to write a certain pairing, and I was completely honoured. That definitely gave a boost of confidence. I will never take these things for granted. Because, whether or not I want to admit it in the future, it changed my life forever. ❤️ 
          
          I am completely grateful to be a part of this community, or any really, and if you (the person who is reading this) is foreign to fanfiction, there’s not one thing you should regret when entering. There are wonderful, supportive people. Stories that make you nostalgic. A mind that may or may not be completely changed. And better yet, your own style of writing and some confidence should you ever chose to write a fanfic. Always write what you love. And that’s probably the best thing ever regarding to fanfiction. 

Happy birthday to Percy Jackson, a character who’ve I read since sixth grade up to tenth/eleventh. A character who I’ve followed through the book series, and more importantly, made me discover fanfiction.
          
          I’ve met a lot of people in the PJO fandom who gave me words of encouragement, love, and support. I know fanfiction does get a bad rap for it, but it is truly an amazing thing. To create something inside a world, causing a small (or big) change to a plot or lifestyle has so many possibilities.
          
          I only hope that someday it won’t be scorned upon or an embarrassment. Besides for people connecting with others who have the same interests, it has positive aspects to it (like strengthening globalization, creativity flow, learning from other fellow writers). I also like to think it helps people. Psychologically, they make characters they love go through things they are experiencing to help cope. Another, is that it’s just plain fun.

Please tell me this didn’t happen... but Jason Grace is dead. I honestly can’t believe it. I’m seriously crying even though he is a fictional character... I found out today. He was growing on me. He was an awesome character, who, sure, was portrayed as secondary to Percy Jackson but dammit he’s awesome. I love him. 
          
          I’m so sad rn.

I think I’m going on hiatus for 2-3 weeks. To ensure that I won’t be procrastinating or whatever, I will be deleting this app. Hopefully I’m not just saying this and never return again, but we’ll see. 
          
          I mentioned in my last message that I’m going on a trip. It’s to Mexico (yay—never been out of the country before, haha) so it’s pretty exciting. It’s not really set in stone just yet, because there could be certain delays/incidents, and I don’t want to jinx anything.
          
          I honestly hope I can write more. You guys are awesome. Don’t know what I’ll do without you ❤️
