HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KIM TAEHYUNG! (I know that this is SUPER late... :( I'm sorry...) Officially 22 (in Western years) or 24 in Korea... wow.
To be honest, I find it funny how in Korea, he only spent 2 days being the Korean age of 1. Like, what if someone walked up to (baby) Tae as a newborn and his mother and said, "What a cute baby! How old is he today--surely young." And then his mother answered with, "Oh, he's 2." Personally, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I would be like, "oh, well than... ummm," *avoids eye contact and shuffles away*
Sorry for the rambling, I'll get back on subject! (The happy birthday message.) For starters, I would like to say that Taehyung has a beautiful voice that should be appreciated beyond measure. His raw talent is amazing, and the the hard work and effort he puts into his career is just as astounding. Also, his character and perseverance is so inspiring. Even after someone disrespects him, he makes an effort to stay on good terms with that person. Tae defends and protects his fellow and loved members. And, most of us noticed that around October, Taehyung seemed to be depressed. This was extremely alarming to me. So, after finding out what happened, I truly admired Taehyung for his strength through the difficult time. This year has been hard on him - and all of the other members as well - and my respect for him is immense. The caring and loving attitude Tae has is heartwarming, and watching him act like himself puts a smile on my face. (Also, his interactions with children are adorable.) I wish that he had an excellent birthday, and continues to celebrate with his bandmates. I also wish that all of BTS knows how appreciated they are, and that those who truly support them wish excellent health and time to rest upon them.
