I saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child yesterday, and before the show, my friend and I each bought a pack of chocolate frogs. Her wizard card was Helga Hufflepuff, and she said she was going to take it as a sign that’s she’s truly a Hufflepuff, since she often gets that result when taking sorting quizzes, but was never completely sure. I said that if the card I got ended up being Goodrich Gryffindor, then I’d take it as a sign that I’m truly a Gryffindor. And when I opened my card after the show, sure enough, my card was Goodrich Gryffindor. Could have just been a crazy coincidence, but I’m choosing to believe that magic truly exists, and have accepted myself as a Gryffindor at last.
