Hey, guys! Fans of Cold as Stone will be happy to learn that the sequel, Heart of Stone, is in the early stages of planning. It will follow Myra in her twenties and will be a bodyguard romance. I haven't decided if it will have spice or not, but I'm currently leaning towards no. Would love to hear your thoughts on it. Remember to drink your water and outlive your enemies!

**Spoiler for last chapter of Cold as Stone** What did you guys think of Jackson's little redemption? Did you like he had a change of heart? Would you have preferred he stayed bad? Do you wish he had survived? I'd like to hear people's thoughts on that.

I am both sad and happy to say that Cold as Stone has come to end. Myra is safe with her true family and needs a LOT of therapy. I have edited chapters 1-3 of Shadow Dancer and am doing some planning for that. It will probably be my next project to focus on finishing. Now that I'm back in the swing of things, I may put a chapter out for other stories every once in a while. I recently started a TikTok, so I do have my creative attention slightly divided now. Not necessarily a bad thing because I'm less likely to burn out creatively when I'm able to mix up what I'm doing. I will be doing some more chapters for the World Building Guide because that's going hand in hand with a series I want to do on TikTok. But I won't be focusing on just doing that because it's not for entertainment. Like I've said, Myra will be getting another story (romance) just not right now. I have too many things in the works to start something else right now. Let me get a few things done and have time to actually plan it out first. We'll get there. Remember to drink your water and outlive your enemies!

I know I said I want Shadow Dancer to have a back seat for right now, but I recently went back and read what I have out for it, and I got REALLY excited for that again. While I'm finishing up Cold as Stone I'm going to start planning for Shadow Dancer. That will probably take Cold as Stone's place as the primary work after Cold as Stone is concluded. I am also working on a new update plan to implement in the future. I have started on a new story and will work on it while updating Cold as Stone and Shadow Dancer. It will not be put up here until it is fully written and edited. That way I can update weekly while working on whatever comes after that, which might be Cold as Stone's sequel that we talked about I don't know. I will however start promoting it here soon, probably in a few weeks, maybe less, to hopefully get people excited for it. It's called Tempting Fate it will be the first in hopefully an expansive series. It will be a fantasy, friends to enemies to lovers.

I wouldn't do this, but it occurred to me that I could make Myra ACTUALLY be her "parents" child and have it all be like a trick to the readers. Like it would make no sense in the story buuuuuut I'm feeling messy. Have a DNA test come back from her parents and she's most definitely theirs. Genetics just decided she was gonna look a bit different from them. I'm NOT doing that. Just thought the reactions at the end of the book would be funny if that was like a major twist since everyone is commenting that they want the Stone brothers to find out like YESTERDAY.
