"someone real?" man, it was hard not to see someone as a nut-case saying something like that. but dante understood in some ways. he had to. knowing after some time what his own brother went through. he knew well not everyone got a good life or a happy start. so he wouldn't judge. "I mean, if it is just a chat, I offer that for free. hell, I bet people would pay to shut me up, actually." he gave a soft laugh, admitting it was probably very true. he knew very well how to get under people's skin, but also knew when to hold back. this especially. "how so? I mean, are you the danger or do you have some twisted captive that threatened you with all that? don't follow on what you mean by the creations. unless there were more made like you? I will say, it is a pretty unique look to be sure. think just about anyone would mistake you for some holy creature." with a small hum, he glanced along the street. letting time go by with a chat. no demons means no payout. guess he could at least say he stuck around to make sure. but this stranger has gotten his attention now. real dooms day stuff. he couldn't deny he felt like a moth drawn to this flame if it promised trouble.

I can't allow what I worked so h— " he cut himself off, not sure why he was speaking so openly with someone who he had just met. perhaps this was real? perhaps maybe he was no longer in the game, but no.. it wasn't that easy and if he had, he wouldn't be seeing the screens floating around him. " ah sorry for my ranting, it's been a very long time since I spoke with someone.. real, I guess. " he apologised while seeming more tense and cautious. as fear sunk into him, of what dread would happen if he did not return soon.
"no demon either, that's for sure. definitely not human. so, what are you then? I doubt a lab could make something like you." dante gave a rather puzzled look, basically ignoring the informal goodbye. with a soft sigh he clipped the sword onto his back, pushing back onto his heels to have a final look around. guess the rumours were a bust. demon hunting has been rather slow as of late, so it sucked having to decline a job due to no activity. "why go back then? if it is such a cage, why not just keep going? surely nothing is worth being locked in, not even money or status." for the half-demon this was especially true. a free spirit through and through. nothing was going to keep him stuck long, no matter what has to be done. "surely you can make excuses, seeing as you're not currently in that so-called cage, right?"
i hope youre aware, it'd be far too cold for you to go out in that.
