just popping in to say i am so fucking disappointed in krist praising this bunker bitch’s “law and order” speech that basically gave white nationalists a nudge to deal with protestors on their own terms like dude i’m so let down

waste-of-paint

@90sinvasion honestly I disagree with him on all accounts but he doesn't have to tuck his tail and run like that

some nirvana fans don't like that a certain nirvana song is in captain marvel and i jus...pls let us enjoy shit yeah

GrungeBug

Speaking as someone who is not quite middle-aged, but would be classified as “old millennial” or “zennial”— even though I think generation labels are dumb and unnecessary— it makes me genuinely happy when I hear younger people enjoying 90s music. I grew up in the 90s, but was only 8 when Kurt Cobain died... it breaks my heart that I wasn’t just a little older so I could have seen Nirvana and some other great bands in concert. Still, I have such fond memories of the 90s. It was a great time and one that I would go back to in a heartbeat. I, for one, am really pleased with all the 90s nostalgia lately. It makes my heart happy to know that people still love and appreciate the music, fashion and culture of that time period. I always feel that I’m a gen-Xer at heart. And I still shamelessly wear grungy looking 90s clothes that I find at the thrift store almost every day. Who cares what people think!? Enjoy what you enjoy and don’t let others criticize you for it! When I was a teenager I was really into The Beatles and they were way behind my time. Great music is timeless and great artists should continue to be respected and acknowledged for their contributions to music and society!✌

@MelNCollie its so annoying like younger audiences are what keep the music alive and thriving old ppl need to get with the program

@90sinvasion Strong agree!

            I hate that most of the bands I like mostly have middle-aged people as their fanbases that are totally hostile to younger audiences. Like... y'all are supposed to be the grown-ups? Get over it!

aLSO its so unfair that my uncles and aunts all got to experience my fave bands live in the flesh while i have to youtube bootlegs :/

          i'd have given ANYTHING to see nirvana, rhcp and alice in chains in the 90s

@90sinvasion I actually like them, from what I've heard. Don't listen to a whole lot of quiet ambient music, but "Fade Into You" is so beautiful.

            I should listen to them more.

the fact that nirvana’s live at the paramount concert was never released as a cd is a tragedy

          that version of aneurysm is *kisses fingertips* beautiful

90sinvasion

it’s one of my favorite performances of theirs and i don’t get a damn cd :(
