Guys, I just finished watching "The Plight Before Christmas", and in it, Louise writes a poem. In my story, "A Cry in the Park", Louise also writes a poem! I think that's a cool coincidence :D

I'm watching "Apple Gore-chard! (But Not Gory)" for the first time right now, and I'm so jealous that American kids get to wear their costumes to school! (Or is that a lie told to me by movies and TV?)

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. I dressed up as a creepy doll, and scared quite a few people. Whoops! Then I watched one of my favourite films, "Ghostwatch".

@A-Pink-Rose She had to go home right after Halloween, but it was a fun visit while she was around! She came out for our anniversary. Covid is absolutely the worst, I'm still trying to recover from it. But we did watch a lot of Futurama together after the new Bob's Burgers episodes!

Hey, guys, just wanted to say I haven't disappeared. I work in a restaurant, and we've been crazy busy as it's the holidays. I've been doing 12 hour days 5-6 days a week in a windowless, understaffed kitchen, and I'm just exhausted right now. When things calm down a bit, or when I get a spare moment, I'll be back reading and writing :)

@zebelcher14 Thank you! I've just been too tired to do anything, let alone write; it's been crazy. Yeah, 12 hours in a busy kitchen in the summer with only 2 people (including me)? It was awful.

What does everyone listen to when they write? I like to listen to rain and thunder sounds, sometimes with a crackling fire. Actual music distracts me too much, lol.
