They say you can define a person based off where they came from, the struggles, or odds one has over come. As for me this could not be truer. The odds in having twins in the 90’s was less than three percent, and with that three percent I was blessed with my twin brother Peter.

I was born on January 27, 1994 at 3:05 AM and three minutes later my brother Peter followed. Thankfully, we were born fraternal twins, which means that we look nothing alike, and this is the same for our personality. We could not be more than complete opposites; he was quite, where I am loud outgoing. But, when they say opposites attract, they could not be more right. Ever since I could I remember, my brother has always been there, no mater the situation.

Growing up in a sports family I was gifted with a completive nature, and have a twin brother to compete with day in and day out has made me the athlete I am today. But, where I was a gifted athlete I suffered in my academics. So from there we would feed off each other both to do well in sports and school.

Arnold Palmer, I great PGA golfer, once said “Always make a total effort, even when the odds are against you.” This to me says, never stop quitting even then the odds are stacked against you. As for me I feel I have beat the odds thanks to my twin brother. It pains me to say this, but without my brother Peter I would not be the person I am now.
