Welcome, everyone, to my little slice of heaven!!

Writing and reading are two huge parts of my life - what can I say? Escaping into other worlds and having adventures, falling in love, being someone different really appeals!

I mainly read historical fiction, romance, fantasy and mystery genres, but in all honesty, if I like the synopsis or even just the cover, the chances are I'll read it no matter what category it fits into! I am extremely open-minded about books and I think part of the thrill of reading is that it can take you places you didn't even know you wanted to go. 

Anyway, I'm Millie - short for Aemilia - and I currently live in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland (I am very lucky to have such an incredible landscape right outside my front door).
