“I can't sleep at night...” the young soldier, barely out of high school, said. His genuine smile contrasted against his words. “The pills don't work. I can't sleep.” His smile faded slightly, his eyes gone empty and distant. Tears rimmed the bottom of his eyes as the smile slowly slipped from his face.
