I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, with my mother, Patricia, and two younger brothers, Robert and Michael. It's hard to pinpoint when my love for writing began. For the most part, I only did it for me and shared it with only a few. But as I get older, I realize there were things I want to do, and publishing my work was one of them. When I'm not writing, I enjoy reading, drawing, singing, and dancing and spending time with family and friends. I work as a Human Service Associate by day with Homeless Services in Baltimore county. I have two children My 18 year old son Matthew and my 10 year old daughter Albanie. I have been married to my husband John for 12 years, together for 16 years. Although my writing is good, my artwork...not so much. But I continue to practice each day. The cover of the poem, Pitter-Patter on the Roof, was designed by me, the poem, is about someone I once knew under unusual circumstances. I hope you enjoy the poems and keep a lookout for more poetry by me to come! Thanks for reading.

Hey everyone, I'll be taking a break from writing for a while. I have some personal matters to address at home. But no worries, I will return. I plan on resuming 365 days of poetry and also posting...
