The corners of her mouth tugged upwards forming a smile as she turned to face the men standing only a few feet away from her.

"David. " Her voice like velvet as she leaned against the dinner table, tapping her fingers against it almost as if she were bored.

The man said nothing but glanced at his brother, who then took a step into the light. David doing his twins opposite as he stepped back and away, hands now clasped behind him as she addressed the other man in the room.
