Realized I haven't said anything on here in a while. I am still working on TAOM! Trust me I want to get this chapter out as soon as possible, so I'm working at it as much as I can.

Hey yall! Today marks the 3rd year anniversary of when I started writing The Art of Melancholia! Which I feel is a good time to end my hiatus, which was a bust, as I didn't do nearly as much research as I hoped. Anyway, I'm writing again. I've already written another scene for the next chapter, though I think it's shaping but to be the longest chapter so far so it's going to take me a while to finish it, but I am starting to work on it! So we are making progress

Happy Halloween!!

Chapters City of Mud and City of Light have been combined into a new chapter: l’Étranger. There's not much changed except I have added some new details and changed the order of some sentences in some paragraphs, but nothing that needs to be re-read for plot reasons. 
          
          Also my eyes make it really hard for me to concentrate when reading on a screen so that's probably why I have so many typos that I don't notice when writing or re-reading. I fairly sure I have BVD (Binocular Vision Dysfunction) but it's going to take me at least till the end of November by the earliest to get an appointment at a local specialist and get prism lenses. So writing and reading is currently makes me feel sick, which is quite problematic since I have to write and read around at least 2h a day to keep on top of my writing schedule.

Forgot to do an actual announcement for this but I posted a teaser for the next chapter of The Art of Melancholia and the start of a brand new part!
          
          Things should be better now that our boy is no longer in a haunted house of horrors haha

Truly hope that I will be able to plot and draft part two in a reasonable time frame. I still have a lot of research to do, and the plot starts to get more complex from here on out. Though I already have some stuff written for the next chapter, which will likely be another long one since there's a lot to cover. Maybe next fall I will be able to start writing again?

Yooo guess what day it is? It's TAOM Thursday! Chapter X: The End is now released on Wattpad! No we're not at the end of the book, but we are at the end of....something. Apologizes in advance. 
          
          This means we are at the end of Part 1! It took me two years but better late than never I suppose

You may be like, AJ, you've set deadlines like three times now and missed all of them. How are we supposed to believe you now? Well I can tell you that you can believe me because Chapter 10: The End of The Art of Melancholia is out now on Kerning! And ill release it here on Wattpad and A03 later this week.

Writing might be delayed because I got myself addicted to sims 4 again

When it's ready, I will release chapter 10 of TAOM on Kerning a week before I put it on Wattpad since I will eventually be getting paid through ad revenue from that site.
