Ngl yall, I miss the old Wattpad. I don’t read on here anymore and havent for a year or two now if not longer. I’m getting the hang of A03 navigation and will probs start uploading there. 
          	
          	I’ll always keep this account up and I most likely won’t private anymore fictional chapters n oneshots. But I dunno how likely I am to start any new books on here. Might just upload to the oneshots book, but otherwise post and organize new works onto my A03. 
          	
          	Honestly I probs woulda abandoned Wattpad a lot longer ago if I didn’t use it write and organize works on. I got a couple things saved on Google docs but I’ve liked the font size, autosave, dark mode, and other functions on here compared to other things. 
          	Howeeeever. Just downloaded Obsidian the other day and I’m gonna be working on shifting allllll my writings onto there so I can save things to a hardrive. I’ve been feeling an increasing push to do this not just because of how different Wattpad has become, but because there’s an increasing possibility that apps and websites like A03 will get banned in the US. Shit is scary and frankly as a trans masc person; I wanna be able to keep myself safe while still engaging in my hobbies and passions. I don’t feel like Wattpad is the place to do that anymore. 
          	
          	I should be the same username and pfp on A03, and Instagram too if you ever wanna see my art or silly postings. 
          	
          	I’ll always cherish the memories I’ve made on here. It’s been a wiiiiild experience, and through the ups and downs of the past decade I have learned and grown so much.  to the friends I’ve made on here that I still keep in contact with; I love ya loads! To all my followers I appreciate you and wish you all well. Take care everybody

@AJnStuff I feel the same way with Wattpad now. It's so different and I find it hard to stay engaged on this platform. And yeah, the whole U.S situation is pretty scary with people's creative freedom.

Update ya’ll, I’m making an A03 account and will be copy pasting my good content onto there. I don’t think I’ll leave this app entirely I’m just sick of the ads, the lack of push notifs for dms, and being told I’m a bad writer for writing only on here.

@joonstaetic I’ve experienced a major drop in reads on Wattpad since they introduced ads and paid stuff. And I’m tired of my work being overlooked by ppl looking for content simply bc they think all Wattpad writers are bad. It gets on my nerves. So what I’m doing is just posting to both now! I only took like 6 of my one shots that are already up and reposted them to a book there, but from now on I’ll be writing and keeping my drafts organized on Wattpad since I like it’s user interface better (dark mode, extensive draft options, reordering, etc etc) but I’ll post to both Wattpad and A03. But I am reading more over on A03 because the search engine is so much more acurate than wattpad’s.

I know no one reads my random message updates; but I just picked up a new Wattpad book and it was upsetting as fuuuuuck- like I’ve been crying for two hours or so and I just dropped it because I got so pissed at it. I’m not name dropping the book- but needless to say the particular bdsm lifestyle presented in it makes me incredibly angry and sob. Which I mean I needed a good cry, but at what cost
