Does anyone have any book suggestions for YA fantasy or sci-fi books with a male main character? I'm so tired of the copy and paste strong female lead.

Ok so the main character is technically a girl but it's not like the Strong Female Character TM books and there's actually a group cast and the boys are just as useful and accomplished as the girls and its my favorite series ever BUT

Go read it. It's beautiful. I love it. I adore it. Its the best series to ever exist and it's about a crazy moon queen trying to take over the earth and how a cyborg and her ragtag team try to stop her

Don't you hate it when an author decides to write in multiple perspectives and then you have to suffer through the pov of characters you do not care about at all?

@AKittensJoy Agh, realized I never answered you! I hate when that happens :') For Gordon Korman books, it's pretty consistent, and only the mainest character(s) get recurring chapters. He writes contemporary and action/adventure (but I guess I already said that, haha) and mostly middle grade (he had a couple of teen books, but they're more mature content, and his middlegrade books are his best anyway). My favorites of his are the Swindle series, the On The Run series, and the Masterminds series

I have a dilemma. I wanna bring my sketchbook to school to doodle in but I also don't want everyone to see my weird fantasy nonsense I draw. I also want to improve my art and to do that I need to draw more so I should bring my sketchbook to school... But I also don't want to be known as an art kid cause art kids get asked to draw things for other people's projects... Idk what do you guys think?
Also side note, I just updated my art book so if you want to see some fantasy nonsense and/or human beings, I'd love if you checked it out. (Shameless self-promotion, lol)

@AKittensJoy ^^I agree with WingedKitten345! :D You should totally do it! I've brought my sketchbook to school the last three years, and I've actually never had someone ask for a drawing! Plus, drawing weird fantasy nonsense is totally awesome! Think about it like this: maybe then, you'll end up attracting people to you who like the same things!

Bring it!! Just don't draw in front of jerks. Also, if they ask you to draw for them, say no. You don't owe them anything. Bring it for yourself ^^ <3

Does anyone else have it where you're the only one who knows what they want to do when their older? Basically all my friends have no idea what they want to do for a living while I have always known I've wanted to be an author. But I also have five backup plans as well...

I thought I wanted one thing for so long. I took classes that I hated just so I could pursue it. Then, in my last year of high school I decided I was sick of that and started pursuing something I actually want to do instead

Hiya everyone. In have an important announcement. My brother somehow broke the charger to my tablet (the device I'm using) so once the battery runs out I'm not going to able to post or anything until I get a replacement... :P Hopefully I'll save the battery enough to post on Saturday, but idk if it will happen.
