getting a random influx of dsmp content on my timeline and it unlocked a weird, deep memory when i was in the fandom. when dream did a face reveal people thought it was fake because his voice sounded weird, and i did too tbh. on a tiktok someone mentioned it again and a person explained it was because he had a collapsed lung. i COMPLETELY forgot about the epidemic of so many cc's having rlly bad health issues. i remember when people were hating on his laugh because it sounded forced, but that's because it WAS. the bitch could barely breathe let alone laugh lmfao

'you were a big author' mf i was a younger teenager who had free time and was semi-literate, i had nothing better to do and i was lucky i was tolerable enough to get bitches LMAO

wattpad could've been so cool if it didn't have 50 million hour long ads, a good system for blocking, banning, and getting unbanned, a community that actually liked each other, didn't try to profit off of every story posted, and wasn't popular during a time where people couldn't appreciate it properly.
          
          the main thing however has to be that too much freedom cursed the users. it can't regulate it's content well enough so it's literally chaos

i feel as if i need to do this since literally everyone else is doing this: -i'm tired of pretending that people are still on this app and im ready to let it die lmao. i was honestly just tired of wattpad in general ever since i started writing since they don't deal with things such as  copyright, inappropriate content such as smut involving minors etc, and way more. im glad we're all moving to tumblr where it's much safer and an open community. this is a goodbye to all my mutuals, my long lived readers, and more. i hope everyone has a good rest of your path of life and we can just think back on this as a fun point in our lives. i can't say ill miss anything about this, but i will admit it made me a happier person. my mutuals were such good people and i hope they're doing well. eventually i'll take my books down and go off the grid but idrc to do that rn lol.
