Hey, the comment never got posted weirdly but to answer your question on the Cole x Baker!Reader chapter. Yes I have another idea. It's a bit sad. 
          Basically after Nya merged with the ocean we see Kai teaching kids self defense. My thought process here is that he went back to their home town hoping she had gone back there somehow and was waiting for him with a candle lit. He breaks down when she isn't and stays locked in the house for days. This is where the reader come sin. As an old friend of his and Nya's. They drag him out of the house just in time for Nya's favorite festival and he tells her what happened and she comforts him. She then forces him out each day and they see kids pushing each other around one day. That's when he decides to teach them how to defend themselves and then after the whole Crystal king debacle ends they return to their hometown with Nya and he and the family friend confess their feelings. (I am physically unable to give Nya and Kai a sad ending they have gone through too much already)
