I’m pleased to say that Death in Red, a short Horror story I wrote, was an honourable mention this month’s RoseGold Awards for short stories!
          I highly recommend checking them out- they’re friendly, don’t have too many rules, and are unbiased, giving awards to books whether they have ten reads or two thousand reads.

          In a town in the middle of nowhere, there are three very important rules.
          
          Rule one: Don't go into the forest
          Rule Two: Don't look into the Red Woman's eyes
          Rule Three: Never, ever, touch her hood.
          
          In the woods is the Red Woman, who wears a cloak and your greatest wants and desires to hide the darkness beneath.
          
          When the death count hits twenty-seven, Essie Duke heads into the wood to find the Red Woman and end the deaths
