Chapter 49 of The Sound of Silence is up now.
I know it’s been a little while since my last update—thank you all so much for being patient with me. Life got unexpectedly hectic recently and I’ve been spending a huge amount of my free time crocheting my aunt’s wedding dress after finding out the wedding got moved up to the end of July, so writing had to temporarily take a back seat for a bit.
But I’ve still been thinking about this story constantly, and I’m really happy to finally be back with a new chapter because this arc is getting intense.

@AsherAres I kind of write spice similarly to how I wrote their almost moment in chapter 34. I like to think I’m decent at it but the jury is still out.

Love me some spice in my fanfic , it’s just gotta be written right , idk if that makes sense but I’ve read some spicy scenes that just didn’t flow correctly nd it was just a little rushed

Chapters 46 & 47 are up now. This part of the story is darker and more intense, but it’s been building toward this for a while.

Hey guys, just a mini update on what’s happening!
I had a garage sale this last weekend and now this coming weekend my grandmother is coming to stay with me. It’s been chaotic trying to prepare the house for all this. Thank you all for your patience! I will keep chipping away at writing chapter 46 and get it to you as soon as I can but it might take me several days.

@BuniBee_ I get why that hurt >~< But I honestly couldn’t see a world where Derek doesn’t watch… not when it’s her and not when Reid’s there too He’d put himself through it if it meant finding them faster I hurt my own feelings writing that scene too </3
