Can you remember that compliment?
The one I blushed like there was no tomorrow?
With my response incompetent,
But containing no traces of sorrow?
How the small wish of "good luck" made me soar,
Do you recall the "good job" that made me grin?
Every word you utter adds to the pulse uproar,
The vowels penetrate my skin.
I even remember the smile, your laugh,
The one of astonishment and proudness.
As my voice fought on another's behalf,
But nothing can compare to the sound of your happiness.
I want to say "I love you",
I know my feelings are true,
But from you to me... what can I assume?

Possible plot hole I wanted to write about... I like the original story though, just having fun.
