You know
Being an artist is fucking tought with Instagram, it doesn't give me enough visibility and it's tiring me. Neither I know how to make videos or tiktoks and it barely gives me visibility too. I'll soon going to open commissions to gain money for myself and to help my family so if you know any app or social media that could help me with that and grow as an artist, I would greatly appreciate for the thought.

@ANNULET I have my own little business that I run on the side as well and this month, I'm gonna see if I can figure out how to begin taking orders to he shipped out to buyers who want my products but aren't at concensions and the like (where I normally do most of my sales atm). You can also look into deviantart as well just to maybe try and get ur name out there. Tiktok is a good social media platform for artists as far as just getting ur name out there. The app is fairly easy to use and there are tutorials on YouTube as well that goes step by step for how to post stuff to tiktok.

As for pricing with ur works, what my coworker said she would do is like portraits are x-amount, full body pics are more expensive (obviously because it's more work) so they're x-amount more in comparison. Then from there. She would have it as whether or not it's detailed with like shadows and stuff or just a basic line-art. Whether it was colored or not. If it had a background, how detailed that background was and if it was colored or not and of course, how it was colored (like if it had a watercolor effect, if there were shadows to give a more 3 dimensional look, etc). And then the nonrefundable deposit was whatever percentage of the total cost of everything that they wanted done. This way, even if they change their mind half way through, you still get paid for the time spent trying to fill their order. (I make bandanas and other such items that are customizable and do a very similar thing with them as that the material cost doesn't come out of my own pocket (also serves as a restocking fee if they change their mind))

@ANNULET one of my coworkers uses Twitter to advertise among other social media apps including Facebook and then uses discord to communicate between potential buyers and then send an invoice using square to recieve payment. (Obviously don't do any work without payment and using a nonrefundable deposit to ensure that ur buyers get a spot on ur commission list will help to ensure that they don't back out on you as well once the work is finished)
