"Katilyn Elizabeth Curry gained her angel wings holding her mother's hand at 8:40 PM on June 11, 2022 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Katilyn was born a fighter on July 31, 2002 arriving 10 weeks early and in the NICU in Charlottesville, VA on July 31, 2002 and has been a fighter ever since. But never losing that smile that everyone knows her for.

She leaves behind to remember her, her mom and dad, Donna and Thomas Wymer of Nampa along with younger brother, John who she was the bestest big sissy ever to and her sister, in Virginia, Whitney Lee. Her grandparents in Virginia, Charles and Diane Wymer along with Uncle Andrew and Aunt Lucy. She was met in heaven that night by her special guardian angels, her Papa John, Granny Jane and G.B. oh what a reunion that must of been.

Kat had recently reached a huge milestone in her life even when cancer tried to rob that of her, she graduated from an awesome high school, Pathways in Education.

Kat never met a stranger, she always had a smile and would try her hardest to make you smile. Fly high baby girl."

I thought that everyone deserved to see this. I am not the one who wrote that obituary, but I stand by its message. Kat was a friend of mine and I am blessed to have known her for as long as I did. While I can't go in and mark her works complete I can at least give her readers some closure.
