Carriers has FINALLY been removed from Amazon! I'm so happy this battle is finally over. The first draft has been removed again from here now, this time for good. I appreciate the patience with the weirdness over the years.
          
          This will likely be my final announcement on Wattpad. Thanks again, everyone. You've been better than I could have ever imagined.

          Although I took Carriers down in 2019, I am briefly making it public again to finally get Amazon to cooperate with taking down the stolen copy published on their platform. I have tried repeatedly to no avail, so it seems like making Carriers available again is the only choice. It has been difficult to prove I am the rightful owner as they cannot connect this username to my legal name. As I am nearly finished with the new draft and hope to pursue traditional publication, once the copyright dispute is settled I will once again be removing it from Wattpad. It will remain available until Amazon cooperates. I wanted to make everyone aware so it did not seem like a bait and switch with me removing it over a year ago.

          Yes, the name is different. I’ve finally decided to shed the terrible pen name I made as a preteen. I would like to say that my social media accounts are very new, as I only created them since I was taking this draft down, but I hope to be active and engage with both my readers and the writing community. 
          
          As I did previously, I’ll also post this as a chapter update as well to ensure the widest visibility possible. 
          
          Again, all the best, and I am so thankful for all of the support you guys have shown me over the years.

          It's been a while. Pretty close to three years, to be exact. A lot has happened in my life since then, and frankly I kind of forgot that I still had an account here. I was shocked when I logged in again to find that people have still been reading Carriers. I would like to say that to all my readers, new and old, I appreciate all of you.
          
          However, two years ago in 2017 Carriers was stolen and published online by a thief. I couldn't afford a lawyer to pursue them, but they also stole numerous other stories from various online authors, so hopefully they have since been brought to justice. On top of this, it is advised constantly in the writing world to not attempt to publish something traditionally that has already been published, and Wattpad counts. I have continued working on a new, exceptionally better draft of Carriers over the last few years. It is still my goal to publish it. The new draft will be so different I believe it would not be considered as previously published. However, I believe it is for the best to take down this old draft. 
          
          I am amazed it was ever as popular as it was. I am deeply grateful for all of you who have read, loved, and reviewed Carriers. As people are still reading it, I will take it down on December 1st to allow those of you time to finish reading it. For any fans of the novel, should you want to read the new draft in any fashion, reach out to me. I have found over the years that I write best when I have deadlines to meet, so I'm considering having an email list or something of the sort to churn out chapters. Hopefully one day you could pick up a polished version of Carriers in your local bookstore, but for private documents will have to do.
          
          Thank you again for your readership and support. I will also add this post as a chapter update in Carriers to do my best to make sure everyone reading it is aware of its impending removal.
